Invicta exuberantly presents its flagship event Technovate. An integration that weaves together a Hackathon, an Exhibition and an Innovation competition for young minds to create technological supremacies. The ideas can be Hardware or Software based. Technovate will take place in two rounds. Stage-I The first stage is an online round which would be the ideation Phase. This will also serve as a Regional Qualifying round for Stage-II. Registered teams need to submit their ideas and provide a synopsis in the prescribed format. The ideas can further be aided by a video of their working prototype (if available) and teams are required to mail it to [email protected] After this, few distinctive ideas will be shortlisted and will qualify for stage-II. Stage-II The second and final stage will be an offline round which will take place during the fest in the IIITDMJ campus. The qualifying teams from stage-I will be showcasing their innovations in the form of an exhibition to a live audience and an esteemed panel of jury. The teams need to present a business model for their projects. The business model may include explaining the technology used in the project, target audience, marketing plan, revenue generation, expected partners and collaborators, future plans along with the existing competitions in the market. RULES & REGULATIONS: Each team must follow the provided event guidelines, failing which, a team would be disqualified. 1. The event will be conducted in two rounds, Stage-I and Stage-II. Only the teams qualifying in Stage-I will be eligible to appear in the Stage-II. 2. A team can have up to 4 members. A member cannot be a part of more than 1 team. 3. Each team must provide only one submission. 4. Each team must mail the video of their working prototypes to [email protected] In case a working prototype is not available at the time of idea submission (Stage-I), the teams will be expected to be ready with it at least a week prior to the next round and mail it to the provided email-id. 5. The last date of submissions for Stage-I will be the 8th of January, 2020. 6. For Stage-II, the shortlisted teams need to bring and showcase their actual projects. 7. Stage-I will have 20% weightage in determining the final score of a team. 8. In case of any dispute, the decision of jury will be final.
